Welcome to Testers Hub ("we", "our", or "us"). We are dedicated to empowering indie Android developers with genuine peer-to-peer closed testing to meet Google Play Console requirements. Your privacy, transparent data handling, and security are fundamental principles of our platform.
2. Information We Collect
To provide our app testing matchmaking, analytics, and reward systems, we collect the following categories of data:
- Account Credentials & Authentication: Your email address, username, display name, and avatar image via secure Google OAuth / Supabase Authentication.
- Application & Testing Metadata: Google Play package names, app titles, icon URLs, developer names, opt-in web URLs, and Google Group links submitted for testing campaigns.
- Testing Engagement Logs: Session completion timestamps, daily check-in streaks, written feedback, and rating tags to ensure compliance with the 14-day testing requirement.
- In-App Purchase Records: Transaction identifiers, package identifiers, timestamp, and virtual coin/credit balance top-ups processed securely via Google Play In-App Billing. (We do not store credit card numbers or financial credentials).
- Device & Diagnostic Telemetry: Non-personal device info (OS version, device model, app version) used strictly for performance optimization and debugging.
- Advertising & Device Identifiers: To support platform operations, the mobile application uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK, which may collect your device's Google Advertising ID (AAID) and diagnostic data for ad delivery and fraud prevention.
3. How We Use Collected Information
We process your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes:
- To organize and coordinate 14-Day Testing Squads among genuine developers.
- To verify daily engagement, maintain streaks, and prevent fraudulent early uninstalls.
- To allocate community rewards (Coins) and priority boost placements (Credits).
- To serve non-intrusive banner and app-open advertisements via Google AdMob to sustain free community services.
- To send transactional push notifications regarding assigned testing tasks, squad graduation, and important system broadcasts.
- To provide responsive developer support and resolve dispute reports.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We work with trusted industry-standard infrastructure providers who adhere to strict data security standards:
- Google Play Billing & Google APIs: For processing in-app purchases and managing Google Group opt-ins.
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK): For delivering banner and app-open advertisements in designated sections of the mobile application. Google AdMob may process device identifiers, advertising IDs, and technical telemetry in accordance with Google's Advertising & Privacy Policies. Users can manage or reset ad preferences via device settings (Settings ➔ Google ➔ Ads).
- Supabase (PostgreSQL & Auth): For encrypted database storage, user session management, and backend security rules.
- Expo & React Native: For mobile application framework and runtime support.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal account data, email addresses, or testing feedback to data brokers.
5. Data Security & Storage
All network communications between the mobile application and our servers are encrypted using end-to-end SSL/TLS encryption. Database access is governed by strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies and authenticated server-side procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
6. User Data Rights & Account Deletion
Under Google Play policies and international privacy frameworks (GDPR / CCPA), you maintain full control over your personal data:
- Instant Account Deletion: You can request immediate, permanent deletion of your account and all associated applications, campaigns, feedback, and logs directly via our Web Account Deletion Page, inside the Android app under Settings ➔ Delete Account, or by contacting our support team.
- Data Export & Rectification: You may request a copy of your stored profile information or update your details at any time.
7. Children's Privacy
Our service is designed exclusively for software developers and testers aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
